Should PM Mori have gone to the Jan 26 funeral for the heroic South Korean student? Three men died when 26 year old student, Lee Su Hyon, and 47 year old photographer, Shiro Sekine, tried to rescue 37 year old plasterer, Seiko Sakamoto, from the path of an oncoming train. Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori praised both men’s efforts in trying to save Sakamoto, who had been drinking beer just before falling onto the tracks. But the PM only went to Lee’s funeral which was on the same day as Sekine's. Did he do the right thing?

Re: Ehime Maru sinking Japan has never fully expressed regrets and do not teach properly their sins to the youth for the atrocities they committed upon numerous people in Korea in colonial period and Asia in WWII and yet when an accident off the coast of Hawaii claims 9 Japanese they act like the U.S. purposely killed them. What hypocrisy!
